I grew up on a farm a few miles NW of Foxhome, MN. One of my favorite memories was driving the 4-wheeler back to our pond behind the trees and casting for bass. Since it was only 1/2 an acre or less, they didn't really have a place to hide. I also did a lot of fishing off my Grandpa's dock in Sauk Centre, Mn. I can still picture all the big sunfish in the weed pockets and spending from sunup til sundown on that dock. When I was 16 we were on a 4-H fishing trip and I met a "real" tournament angler. After talking to him I decided to join the North Star Bass Club. Twenty years later and I'm still as passionate about the sport as ever.
For the last 18 years I've lived in Barnesville, MN with my wife Candace. We have a 10 year old Son Andrew and a 7 year old Son Logan. They both love to fish and help drive the boat. Andrew has started using a 7' rod and a baitcaster reel this Summer so it's exciting for him and me at the same time. Logan still uses a small Car's rod and can crank those big sunfish in like nobody's business. Since 2002 I've been the Tech Coordinator at Barnesville Public Schools. My Brother and I also have a computer business We Travel PC since 2001.
Not having a tournament trail in our area with all of our lakes was the main reason we decided to start up our own. Ryan, Greg and I have a passion for the outdoors and bass fishing. I'm very excited to have the chance to do this and really look forward to putting 100% effort towards making a tournament trail that people will not only fish, but want to come back and fish more of them.
